Save your spot for our April Courtyard Conversation!
During this month’s conversation we’ll be digging into Chapter 5 of the Introduction to The Inner Gathering. Here are a couple of the discussion prompts.
How do you react to the word "meditation?" Do you have any experience with
practicing it? If so, what was it like? How did you notice yourself responding to
Kelly's description of meditation in Chapter 5?
In Chapter 5, Kelly draws upon Merton and Rohr to equate the ego to our false self, which is separate from our soul, and at the end of the chapter he defines the ego in this way: "The ego is the set of three personas every person has crafted to protect their original self and its wounds." What are your thoughts about this? What questions does that definition raise that you would like to see answered?
